Meet Lisa

My name is Lisa, and I am the site lead for Tooele. My husband and I have two girls and one boy, and we live in Stansbury Park.

 I love being a mom and taking care of my family, and you’ll find me running around to basketball games, dance classes, soccer practices, tumbling, and piano.

When I’m at home, I am often cleaning and organizing areas of my house, which is something I enjoy doing. I like to stay organized by writing to do lists, and I really like to cross off items when they are completed.

One unique thing about me is that I delivered my third child in the car on the way to the hospital. You can read about it here. It was a scary experience at the time, and something I didn’t think would ever happen to me. Now I can look back on the experience and talk and laugh about it.

In 2010, I started a website, Saving Cent by Cent, where I teach people how to save money and live frugally. I also talk about meal planning and share easy, budget-friendly recipes that families can make. My website started out as a hobby, but then over the years it grew into a small business. I love helping people save money so they can live within their means while still enjoying the things in life that matter most to them.
