Posted by Brittany Humphrey on

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces  pasta (your choice)
  • 4 slices beef bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces  mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped beef bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are golden brown and softened, about 5-6 minutes.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss until the pasta is coated evenly.

  7. Serve the beef bacon and mushroom pasta in bowls or on plates. Sprinkle the crispy beef bacon on top and garnish with fresh parsley.

  8. Enjoy your delicious beef bacon and mushroom pasta!

Note: Feel free to add additional vegetables or herbs according to your preference. You can also adjust the seasoning and cheese according to your taste.
