This item is an OVERSTOCK acquisition. Sometimes in our pursuit of delicious foods for the co-op, we come across a product that is an overstock from a farmer/supplier/source and being sold below wholesale pricing at a loss to "clear it out." As such, our occasional overstock items are already at the lowest possible price, so no additional discounts (like VIP Insider's) will apply to this product.
Reason for overstock: This farmer specializes in providing our American Wagyu, but he has a few Angus on his ranch and so he had these butchered and needs to clear them out of his freezer.
Know where your food comes from! Our local Angus beef grassfed/grain finished ground beef is available for a one-time purchase to help this farmer clear his freezer space for his next round of American Wagyu.
From the local rancher: These cattle are grass-fed for the first 6-8 months while on their mother's milk, and then are put in pastures with grain supplements until they are mature.
Each box will contain 25 lbs of 1lb packages of Angus Ground Beef. This beef is softer and juicier than most ground. Adds a buttery taste to any meal!
