Ok, everyone, we have some surprises up our sleeves this month! Do you remember when I taste-tested local beef bacon a couple of months ago? This isn't a product that is not normally made but I have seen it in artisan meat offerings outside of Utah. So I have been trying to get some made for our community with our local farmers.
Beef bacon is cured using similar methods as bacon, but the taste for beef bacon is un-freakin'
believable!! Like and UNREAL taste.
I love pork bacon, but beef bacon is leveled up.
This product sells from $18-22 per lb, but our community can access it for $12.49 lb through our group buying co-op model...and support local and add something so incredibly delicious in the meat world. It's all of the wonderful things in one co-op meat buy!

Know where your food comes from! Our specific Utah farmer pasture raises Angus beef. This beef bacon is made from brisket.
From the local rancher: These cattle are grass-fed for the first 6-8 months while on their mother's milk, and then are put in pastures with grain supplements until they are mature.
